Plans for the 18th Annual Ballet Department Scenes from the Nutcracker have begun!!

2015 Dates are:

  1. Saturday, December 12th at 1:00 pm
    Mandatory dress rehearsal: Friday, Dec. 11th 4:30-6:30 @ HRMS Auditorium
  2. Saturday, December 12th at 4:00 pm
    Mandatory dress rehearsal: Friday, Dec. 11th 7:00-9:00 @ HRMS Auditorium
  3. Sunday, December 13th at 2:00 pm
    Mandatory dress rehearsal: Sat, Dec. 12th 10:00-noon @ HRMS Auditorium

Students will be divided into 3 casts, and most perform in only 1 show. It is quite a challenge to keep siblings in the same show, and to accommodate all families, but we do try!  Some families have to be in 2 shows.  If you have a major conflict, please email Nancy, and she will do her best to honor your request. Once casting is made, it cannot be changed, so requests for changes need to be made no later than October 15th! For the Sunday show, students don’t come to the theater until 1:00, which shouldn’t conflict with most church schedules.

Our Nutcracker is a benefit performance for FISH and Providence Hospice of the Gorge – it is put together with all-volunteer help and donations. The $10 Nutcracker fee covers the costs of costumes, scenery, room use, and custodial fees, which have risen in the past few years!! If you or your business would like to donate an additional amount, you will be recognized in our program.

General admission is with canned food or cash donations to FISH and Providence Hospice of the Gorge.
